I want to write a book about cancer. Lung cancer to be precise. I have searched the internet for information & I havn’t found much. Can anyone tell me anything about a relative of theirs who had it or something? What happened to them. I don’t want to upset anyone, I just want to get my info correct. Thank you so much.

After my grandfather past away many years ago I began coughing up a whitish, yellowish mucous. This has been going on for a year or two. I had been taking care of him for over ten years. My grandfather had lung cancer & worked in chemical plants with asbestos. Since going to a doctor about 4 months ago, I was diagnosed with a staff infection. The doctor prescribed me with antibiotics. It went away & now it’s back. I am still spitting or coughing up this flem. It gets stuck in my throat & drives me crazy. What can I do, is this dangerous?

At present my primary Doctor has me on a breathing Inhaler=Albuterol 90MCG 200D oral INHL. Made by Armstrong.
But i was told by the local drug store that this type inhaler would be discontinued & replaced with a different Aerosol mixture on or before Jan 1st 2009.
I do know that all the present day Albuterol type inhalers are being phased out. With the reason being for the enviorment & ozone layer ?
These new Albuterol type inhalers are being made with a different chemical make up by all the pharmaceutical company state side, if not world wide ?
Over the years past & present, i have found out that the new version inhalers do not work near as well or act as fast with the needed quick relief as the ones that they were replaced with.
So, my question is where if possible would i be able to obtain the older inhalers ? Would Canada still have the older version inhalers prescription wise ? Or who if any other ?
Note; i suffer from asbestos with my breathing.

following sypmtoms are: numbing & extreme burning on left side of face (exposed side while sleeping)sinuses were messed up badly, but have somewhat cleared. burning sensation has worsened, with whole inside of mouth being completely numb & extreme burning sensation. since a/c clutch burned up on rig on 3/14/06 symptoms has began to move to right side of chin, lips, & left eye. Also, now I am experiencing "electrical type of shocks at times from face, & from base of neck to temple. Very painful, have lost considerable amount of weight due to not being able to eat, affects my sleeping, I sometimes have to have a drug induced sleep such as benadryl. Drs, try to say it is "Bells Palsy" But, symptoms DONOT MATCH: My face has Never been paralyzed or had lose of muscle use. A/C Clutch has electrical windings, as well as asbestos clutch material, which was hot enough to Burn off into a toxic smoke which was inside of cab of my truck when i awoke. The smoke was a blackish color, with an odor.

im an 18yrs old girl. im afraid that i am having breast cancer? i have small pimple like projections on my skin in between my breasts…………but my parents says its due to heat & i hav dandruff problem 4 the last two yrs……it might be due to that also but i hav a lot of patches of pimples on my shoulders………nowadays i notice a big inflamation right under my arms……..they appear 4 abt a week & its goes off after that.& it appeared only yester year& i hav never had such inflamations before & after that also till now. i hav no family history of breast cancer ………..i am a mechanical engineering student & my work place has a asbestos roof…………will asbetos sheeted roof cause any mutation………am i realy having breast cancer………..should i approach a doctor …………& if i tell my parents also they are not taking it so seriously b’cos i always care abt me very much &say them everything seriously………….even if it is a small pain or head ache…….
