My sweetest little niece (my first cousin once removed)is only eight years old, she is very sick…she got cancer. The doctors could not make the conclusion before operation, but they suspect that she got Peritoneal Mesothelioma (Abdominal Mesothelioma). Could you pray for her please? She is in China, her name is Yiwen.

My grandma was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and I know she won’t recover from this so how long do you think she will live? The doctors said about a year but she could live 5 years…

I have a friend in TX that’s getting a CT scan. How long till the doctors will be able to tell if it’s lung cancer or not?

Last Monday my grandmother had to get chest x-rays and they found a mass — The doctors didnt like the way that it looked so she had an appointment with a different doctor to discuss things, which was today — I just found out that she has Emphysema and Monday will get a bronchoscope biopsy to find out if she she lung cancer.

I am very scared and concerned for what she may have to go through in the future is she does have lung cancer. It is bad enough having emphysema, but that and cancer. She also has diabetes and is not in the best of health.

Yes she did smoke for quite a bit of her life and did quit and has for 8 years now.

I just dont want anything to happen to her.
What is to be expected in her future?

I know that the cause is due to her smoking so please I really dont wanna hear its her fault for smoking.

I have been diagnosed with squamous cell stage !!!A lung cancer I have two small cells of cancer in my right lung and one lymph node.
Treatments are surgery, radiation, chemo for most people. I am considered a non surgery candidate.
Therefore radiation and chemo would be my only chance. My questions are to compare length of life, quality , prognosis, with treatment and without any treatment?
I have asked my Doctor, but there is an English barrier, He’s from India Plyus Doctors don’t know how long it takes to die without treatment, because patients against treatment don’t usually go back.

My mother ‘may’ have stage IV lung cancer. The doctors are not sure yet, but they say it may have spread to her brain. What is the likliness of her pulling through this and living a long life??

My grandmother went into the hospital a couple weeks ago with confusion and incoherent behavior, they found her electrolites were low, and had to raise them slowly.

She came back into her right mind, and during the tests they did in that time they found she had cancer in her liver and lungs.

Tonight she went back into the hospital (after being home 2 days) far more confused and much more violently incoherent than before. I am assuming this is because her electrolites must be low again. (I dont know why or how they could drop so fast). The doctors have told us she has stage 4 cancer, and basucally to just keep her comfortable until she passes.

Theyre doing more tests to find out how long that will be, but does anyone have any idea? The thought of her wasting away for months is horrid, even weeks in this state is more than i can handle.

People should just lay down and die. This wasting away crap is bullshit.
Wouldnt repeated severely low electrolyte levels suggest renal failure?
She doesnt want treatment from what I understand. Iam sure that will make a difference. Just the fact that the doctors have basically said "take her home and let her die" says a lot.

I don’t know much at all about lung cancer, but this guy I know came to school today and said that he recently found that he has lung cancer and the doctors have given him three months to live. Are there no treatments for lung cancer? How can he possibly be dying so fast, after he just found out that he had it? Is there anyway to find out if he is telling the truth or just being overdramatic because his girlfriend wanted to break up with him? Anyone with any information about lung cancer would greatly be appreciated! Thanks everyone.
