Has anyone been exposed to black mold or maybe asbestos?
I work in a very old nursing home and think I may be coming down with a very bad allergic problem. I have developed Asama with a bit of blood in my sputum. My DR. said I need to go to the city to see a throat DR. However, I don’t have the money nor the means to go 150 miles to the city. I want to know if this is just asama or something worse like black mold exposed?
I have worked as a bath aid in this nursing home for 6 months up to 12 hours per shift and I have seen many water leaks in the bath room ceiling and there is a black spot on the ceiling near the leak. Soon after I spotted this black spot…that was when I got sick.

With the above “disclaimers” out of the way, check out the remarkable research on toxic mold removal done by environmental expert Dr Ed Close. Simply diffusing Thieves essential oil regularly will likely result in an environment very hostile to mold.

Cost of the Thieves Household Cleaner, a diffuser and a couple bottles of the Thieves oil that Dr Close recommends to his remediation clients: about $250. Perhaps the nursing home would consider giving this a try if they receive a few not-so-subtle hints about the legal hot water they will be in when their patients/clientele begin to figure out what the mold is doing to their health.

Hi Audry,
Those symptoms you mentioned can indeed be mold related. Toxic mold grows inbetween walls and ceilings and crawl spaces where no sunlight and water is present. Check your work for any old water leaks. You can also call in a mold tester. If toxic mold is present you need anti fungal meds asap!!!!! Dont rely on doctors as they have no experience in these cases.
