The doctors will determine that through a series of tests and biopsies. AS far as symptoms go, it can be very similar to lung cancer.

If you have any of these symptoms:shortness of breath, cough, pain in the chest due to an accumulation of fluid in the pleural space, anemia, blood in the sputum, or weight loss and cachexia, abdominal swelling and pain, you should reaaally consult a doctor. Mesothelioma symptoms look very much alike any other disease in the first two stages. But then, when doctors are pretty much sure it’s mesothelioma, there is little they can do.
The mesothelioma awareness has spread, but the cure still hasn’t been found. So it is best to check with the doctor and tell him/her if there was any asbestos exposure, the tests will tell you exactly.
