is it the same a lung cancer and a tumor that grow in the lung for the metastasise of other tumor?

It is the same question for any other kind of cancer. My question is if when you have metastasis you have differente kind of cancers or only one in different tissues. If you have different kinds of cancer, must they be treated sepately?

If you are asking if lung cancer cells and a metastasis from a breast cancer to the lungs are the same . . the answer is no they are not the same. A lung cancer cell orginates in the lung and will always be a lung cell. A breast cancer cell dislodges from the breast tissue and spreds to other areas . . that is called metastes. Metastatic breast cells can lodge in the lung and grow . . they are still breast cells, but are now growing at a distant site.
Metastatic cancer cells can all be treated with the same protocol.
In some occasions the patient may have two separate cancers . . a patient can have sarcoma and also have leukemia. In this case the patient may need to be treated for both diseases . . but it is extremely difficult. I do know one survivor who had both stage IV sarcoma and pre-leukemia, he was treated, had stem cell rescue, now disease free, and he is doing well right now.

Metastases is a tumor that looks like the primary tumor. For instance, cells from a large bowel tumor enter in the blood or lymphatic vessels and goes to the liver or to the lung. Having metastases means the cancer is in stage IV, the most serious stage of the disease. The treatment is variable considering the kind of the tumor, the number and places of metastasis, the status of the patient.
Usually chemotherapy and radiotherapy are used for the primar tumor as well as for known and unknown metastasis (one metastasis means the cancer is spreading and probably there are malignant cells in other organs as well). Sometimes the primary tumor and the metastasis can be surgical removed.

They do different aggressive treatment for each type of cancer. My mom had lung cancer, it was squamous cell and it spread to the liver. They did radiation on the lung but could not on the liver.

When a cancer no matter what kind metastasizes it means it is on the loose in the body. Those cells that the cancer came from that can grow rapidly like lung tissue or skin make a happy home where every they land.
That is most aggressive type of cancers and treated with he most effort.
Other types like bone which is very very slow doesn’t normally metastases because is a slow growing tissue.
If you have different cancers they treat them depending on how fast they are growing and you what you chances are in going into remission.
This is best a question left to an oncologist who is more aware of the treatment that are available and what your chances are than you can make a inform choice on how to treat it.
Than again each person reacts to cancer differently. My mother had a good friend who lived with pancreatic cancer for 40 years normally someone who gets it dies shortly have they find out you have it.
The drugs and treatment are changing all the time.
