Mesothelioma FAQs
He’s been feeling bad for a few weeks now. He’s been in the hospital for two days. I’m worried that this could be related to the fact that he was ridiculously exposed to asbestos….but I’m not sure. Can someone help me out here?
No rude answers. I’m not in the mood.
I’m really concerned and I want to look at this medical bit before I go down and visit him.

until the doctors complete their tests and make a diagnosis, NO ONE can tell you what is wrong. Suggest that you would do better to simply be supportive of him, he doesn’t know what is going on either.

If exposed to asbestos, it could be Mesothelioma, which is a form of cancer. Symptoms include weight loss, chest pain, shortness of breath etc. It could however be something else so try not to get too worried.

It could be the asbestos…which are purely chemical in nature…Please do get your dad thoroughly checked up to rule out the possibility of cancer, either in the stomach or blood (leukemia).
