Mesothelioma is companesated by the company that made it and companies that installed it, and ocmpanies that had it installed. The agent orange was deployed by the govt military and they signed a waiver preventing private compensation fromt he venders and delviering agents. My grandfather has agent orange but he was also on a helicopter that dopped it over the jungle, other soldiers at bases guarded the agent orange at the base, and plane personnel and airport personnel shipped it overseas. None of these people like my grandfather can be sued for dumping agent orange on other military members. The VA does provide compensation for agent organe in the form of VA disiability, which will have to do.

Agent Orange….military action…Feres Doctrine. Troops and families of troops injured as a result of military action can not sue the government for those injuries.
Mesothelioma.. resulting from exposure to asbestos…most often in the civilian world. Feres Doctrine does not apply. Those injured and their families can sue whoever was responsible for the asbestos exposure.
