This is a nice change from the other videos on mesothelioma that I have seen here. If they have this quality on their free DVD that should really help a lot of people understand what mesothelioma is all about. Nice work!

Doctor has done an excellent job explaining the disease in layman’s terms. Much easier to understand than most of the website content.

My God! My house also has some asbestos. Will it affect me and my family members?
casanov1 on December 31, 2007 at 11:08 pm
Kimvadan, Asbestos is harmful if it’s airborne and it’s particles are inhaled. Remove the substance ASAP with the help of a specialist.

I suspect radioactivity to be as an agent that could be concentrating on some very tiny fibers. Did Steeve McQueen as John Wayne went turning films in deserts where Nuclear tests had been done ? I think that as many test that have been done on asbestos should be made on radioactivity that could have concentrated on fibers, on cigarette fibers. I recall a Los Alamos Doctor that made studies on cigarette growing and radioactive phosphates taken for faster growing of tobacco. Asbestos I dont know.

To the best of my knowledge, Asbestos is not dangerous unless it is disturbed. So, you don’t have to worry about it. Remove asbestos safely with the help of a person who is licensed to handle asbestos.
