This is absolutely untrue. Here in Canada, I have gone from diagnosis to surgery (partial masectomy) in 2 weeks. After 4 weeks of healing, I start chemotherapy tomorrow. Oh, and did I mention that I have not been charged a penny for the doctor, the surgeon, or the oncologist. Our universal health care plan is being totally represented in the U.S. You should be so lucky as to have a plan such as Canada’s.

09reason: not true – I found a lump in my breast had a ultra-sound done 2 weeks ago and I am going for my first mammogram this Friday – everything is taking place in under a month. Nothing is out of pocket except for a parking ticket at the hospital. Embrace health care and reap the benefits.

I’m glad this video is here. I often wandered if I had breast cancer but couldn’t understand some of the symptoms, suck as dimpling of the skin or indented nipple. This video showed the symptoms, so it’s a great help to me, now I know what to look for.

Hello, do you know if free clinics give breast examination? mammograms? Etc. I told my mother that I would like to get it done (she thinks Im being paranoid), she said it may be from carrying bags because its painful but it also has an odd shape and different size from my left breast.
Please email me, thanks.

MON3t7 I am not sure if free clinics give breast examinations/mammograms. I cannot give you medical advice. I found out that I have three cysts in my left breast and for years had a fluid-filled feeling there so my hunch was right that there was something there. As well, rather than take my tests back to the lab – I took them home and looked at them myself on my own computer found something that is so small that worries me. The technician pointed it out but the doctor said it was fine.

cont’d. I am not satisfied so I am having the cysts drained and then will go for an MRI which apparently picks up other cancers as well, so I have read. Even though the doctor says it’s fine, my internal gut feeling is – no! so I have to go with that and I have to push my doctor for further tests if necessary so this is my story. It is all covered in Canada so I am grateful for that. I can’t tell you what to do but the tests are so fast and simple.
goldengirl67 on March 9, 2010 at 1:32 pm
cont’d. I also had dimpling in my left nipple when I raised both arms but it is do to the cysts which are lined up and go across into the nipple encroaching on that area. I also have fibrocystic breast disease so my breasts are pretty much always lumpy here and there most of the time. I wish you luck and that you stay healthy.

Read Andreas Moritz’ books to learn how current medicine is based on flawed principles and unproven ‘science’ that supports its vested interests (and they’ll discredit anyone who dares challenge’em) . –check out Moritz’ astounding run of Amazon five-star scores–. Free yourself from conventional medicine’s most dangerous myths and the pseudoscience upholding them, which only benefits profit-driven Big Pharma. Please don’t donate to cancer research:you’re feeding vultures.
